Don't Forget To Vote!

Since January, Skyler has been reminding visitors at our home to vote. As someone leaves, he tells them "Don't forget to vote!" When asked whom to vote for, Skyler recommends "Vote for Rock Obama!" Obama obviously has captured the youth vote of America (at least in the under 3 set)! Skyler, mom and dad visited Grandma and Grandpa in Venice last weekend and participated in the Sun Fiesta parade, marching in support of the local democratic candidates and Obama. Daddy, a McCain supporter, did not condone, endorse or recommend anyone but he was a good sport, carrying Sky part of the route on his shoulders. When told he was going to march in a parade, Sky was very excited. He got to wear red, white and blue beads, stickers, hat, shirt, etc. His first musical choice was to play the tuba but he "made do" with the cymbals instead. Sky took his marching responsibilities very seriously and crashed his little cymbals through most of the parade route (at times right in Daddy's ears!). We're very proud of our little activist!
